- Load the car on the trailer, do not back up the car on the trailer. Always have the parking brake applied, the steering wheel lock locked and the lowest gear on the towing vehicle.
- Make sure it is the right ball pressure. Change the position of the loaded car if the ball pressure is not correct.
- Place a stop block in front and a stop block behind the front wheels. Make sure they are secure.
- Attach the strap at the right angle over the wheel. Lash as straight down to the loading platform as possible.
- Drive carefully! If something is perceived as unsafe, stop and check that the load is properly secured.
